MSEB calls for immediate attention

Dear all,

We all agreed that Education Board has been set up knowingly, with nil bank balance/ fund. But with hopes that slowly and surely, as we proceed, we would be supplied and would chip in as and when the time arise for us to chip in our own little part. Friends, that time for each of us to contribute whatever we could have arrived. The time has arrived.

We know very well, that, Rs.2000/- (Rs.1000/- for some) is not at all a small amount to just contribute. It affects our other parts of our tight budget. However tight our situation may be, let us remind ourselves, the sole reason of starting this Board, in the first place. We did started, not just because, we all have money. That we have money to spare. No. The same was started, with all our financial limitations and apart from many other reasons, to help each other climb the ladder of economic liberalisation, through securing ourselves employment in the organised sectors - be it govt./NGOs/PSBs/ Private sector etc - the gateway of which we agreed is education.

This will be done only through better education. No doubt, education cannot be narrowed down to just securing of employment. Employment is just one part of the many things education brings into a pewrson's life.

Well, before we go on..and on ..and on, let me come to the point.

Right now, MSEB is in partial crisis now. According to reports received from the Monitoring Cell, these are the few points worth noted:
1. Salary of Moderator is due and fund is short.
2. Novodaya Kendriya Vidyalaya entrance exam for Cl-IX is due sometime down the line. About 50 students are already interested to take tuition for this. Registration fee of Rs.50/-- each has been collected. A tutor has been consulted and about 3500/- seems to be quoted for the tuition.

These are the two pressing things as of now. So my dear fellow members of the educated M.Songgel, it is my urge to you all to take some action towards this. The youth of the county back home needs you. One very best way is through your money.
As far as our records shows, the followings have contributed:

3. Mangboi Lhungdim - 2000/-
4. Lalboi Lhungdim - 1000/-
5. T.Lhungdim - 2000/-
6. N.Haokip - 2000/-

Well, friends, these guys who have contributed are not better off than the rest. We just did it, with lots of pinch in our budget, because we have agreed upon a CAUSE. So we request all of us who are yet to pay our contribution towards this cause of Education Board to once again think about it and please contribute our own part, because we need you.......NOW!

Who will think that we cannot do it??]
